Antikolonialer Widerstand – Antikoloniale Demonstration
Am Samstag, den 12. Oktober 2019 demonstrierten in Berlin ca. 10.000 Menschen in Solidarität mit den antikolonialen Kämpfen auf der ganzen Welt. In beeindruckender Vielfalt kamen zahlreiche Gruppen und Organisationen zusammen, darunter auch zahlreiche Unterstützer*innen des kurdischen Befreiungskampfs, die in großer Anzahl und mit zahlreichen Bannern erschienen waren und gegen die Angriffe des türkischen Militärs auf die kurdischen Gebiete im Norden Syriens protestierten.
Die von Anticolonial Berlin organisierte Demonstration fand im Rahmen des zum ersten Mal von verschiedenen migrantischen Kollektiven in Berlin ausgerichteten Antikolonialen Monats statt – zwischen dem 12. Oktober, dem Startpunkt der Kolonisierung der amerikanischen Kontinente 1492, und dem 15. November, dem Eröffnungstag der Berliner Kongo-Konferenz, auf der 1884 über die koloniale Aufteilung Afrikas entschieden wurde.
Im palästinensischen Block, zu dem u.a. Palästina Spricht / Palestine Speaks, F.O.R. Palestine, Demokratische Komitees Palästina, QUARC Berlin, Jewish Antifa Berlin und BDS Berlin aufgrufen hatte, forderten die Aktivist*innen ein Ende von Kolonisation und Apartheid, ebenso die Befreiung der palästinensischen Gefangenen. Für Freiheit, Gerechtigkeit und Gleichheit in Palästina – und überall!

Anticolonial resistance – anticolonial demonstration
On Saturday, October 12, 2019, more than 10,000 people demonstrated in Berlin in solidarity with anti-colonial struggles around the world. Numerous groups and organizations came together in impressive diversity, including supporters of the Kurdish liberation struggle, who appeared in large numbers and with numerous banners and protested against the attacks of the Turkish military on the Kurdish areas in northern Syria.
The demonstration organized by Anticolonial Berlin was part of the Anticolonial Month that is organised by various migrant collectives. It will take place for the first time between October 12the starting point of the colonization of the American continents in 1492, and November 15th, the opening day of the Berlin Congo conference that decided over the colonial partition of Africa in 1884
In the Palestinian bloc, to which amongst others belonged Palestine Speaks / Palästina spricht, F.O.R. Palestine, Democratic Committees of Palestine, QUARC Berlin, Jewish Antifa Berlin and BDS Berlin, activists called for an end to colonization and apartheid, as well as for the liberation of Palestinian prisoners! For freedom, justice and equality – in Palestine and everywhere!
