Nakba-Kundgebung 2025 in Berlin
Den Redebeitrag eines Vertreters des International Jewish Anti-Zionist Network (IJAN) nimmt die Berliner Polizei zum Anlass eine zuvor vom Gericht durchgesetzte Kundgebung zu beenden. Ein massives Aufgebot der Polizei mit mehreren Hundertschaften und Wasserwerfern war aufgefahren worden, um das Recht auf Versammlungs- und Redefreiheit zu verhindern. Mit Provokationen wie aggressivem Auftreten unmittelbar in der Kundgebung und willkürliche brutale Festnahmen hat die Berliner Polizei erneut die Grundrechte der Versammlungsteilnehmer*innen mit Füßen getreten.
The Berlin police use the speech by a representative of the International Jewish Anti-Zionist Network (IJAN) as an opportunity to end a rally that had previously been enforced by the court. A massive contingent of police with several hundred officers and water cannons had been deployed to prevent the right to freedom of assembly and speech. With provocations such as aggressive behaviour directly at the rally and arbitrary, brutal arrests, the Berlin police once again trampled on the fundamental rights of the rally participants.
